The Excelerate V.2 Difference
As the leading paediatric intensive therapy service provider in Singapore and the region, we are mindful of the difficulties many families face when sourcing for the perfect educational and therapeutic setting for their child with learning differences. Excelerate V.2 is the first and only Developmental Preschool run by speech therapists, occupational therapists, occupational therapists. It is the only daily intensive therapy program in Singapore of its kind.

The right mix of intervention strategies, conducted at the right intensity, using the right approach, together with consistent effort from parents and caregivers in the child's life, appears to be the only way to make a lasting difference in the lives of these children…the only way to give them a chance to EXCELERATE.

The best time to prepare a child with special learning needs for school and life beyond school is as early as possible. Young brains are primed for learning. EXCELERATE V.2 is a one-of-a-kind accelerated program formulated especially for children with special needs.
The intensity of the programme along with the multi-faceted approach makes for a rapid learning curve in an effort to make optimal use of the learning window available to each child.
We use an eclectic mix of approaches in order to find the best fit for each child. We may use a single approach or a combination of approaches in order to bring about the best results. Most importantly, we are flexible about the various therapeutic methods to teach children with special learning challenges and constantly modify and adapt each method to accommodate each child's particular personality, family and community situation.
Programme focus
EXCELERATE V.2 focuses on the following communication and learning essentials within the framework of therapy:
- Building attention and concentration skills
- Following directions and auditory processing
- Forming and maintaining relationships
- Recognizing spatial and relational concepts
- Extensive speech and language training
- Regulation and modulation of sensory functions
- Academic foundation skills
- Fine motor and motor planning training
- Social language development
- Building mental and physical stamina
All skills are taught with high-interest and high-impact activities that are specifically designed for each child and conducted at the right intensity and frequency based on each child's changing profile of skills and needs.
Programme format & fees

| In this full-day format, each child receives regular individual and group intervention in each kind of therapy, based on his/her level of need in each area assessed by the therapists. There is an emphasis on social language and emotional development, creative arts and play skills along with social eating and functional life skills in our special Life Streams intervention module. | ||

| In this half-day format, each child receives small group intervention with individual attention on a weekly basis from our therapists in major areas of need as assessed by the therapists. There is an emphasis on developing the fundamentals of speech, language, communication, sensory functioning and core academic and functional skills. | ||

| In this half-day format, each child receives small group intervention with individual attention on a weekly basis from our therapists in major areas of need as assessed by the therapists. There is an emphasis on developing problem-solving and inferencing skills, pragmatic skills, executive functioning together with higher level academic and communication skills in a cooperative group work setting. | ||
Administrative fees
- $300 Registration fee (non-refundable)
- $500 Deposit required (Refundable less 20% administration/materials fee)
- $20 3 sets of Uniform (not compulsory)

Individual & group delivery
The number of students in each format and group varies according to what we think is the optimal number for each child to cope with successfully and is also dependent on group dynamics. Thus, in each format, there will be times when a child is in an individual setting, or a small group of 2-3 children, or up to 6 children at a time. It all depends on each child's level of readiness and the target areas of skill development.

- An initial 60-minute screening assessment with a Speech-Language Pathologist and Educational Therapist or Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent therapist to student ratio of 1:3.
- EXCELERATE Learning Objectives (ELO) with detailed and specific objectives and strategies developed to address your child's specific needs.
- Regular updates and reviews with parents/caregivers.
- One-stop therapy service with occupational therapy, speech therapy, academic training, cognitive training, motor skill development and functional life skills incorporated into a single programme available at the same location on a daily basis.
- Access to the first and only program available in Singapore actually designed and implemented by Speech Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Educational Therapists who have a detailed understanding of children's developmental capabilities in the areas of speech, language, attention, gross and fine motor skills, modulation and regulation of sensory functions and academics.
- The programme is wholly conducted by an experienced and dedicated group of specialist professionals working in synchrony with parents and each other to assist each child in the most effective manner. Your child will have regular access to specialists in the areas of communication, social-emotional development, gross and fine motor development, academic learning, creative arts and music, cooperative play and classroom readiness and survival skills.
